Law school applicant reviewing an accommodations documentation packet during a remote consultation with a licensed psychologist

How Our LSAT Documentation Review Process Works

Complete an online intake and have your information reviewed by a licensed psychologist using independent clinical judgment. When documentation is clinically supported, you will receive a finalized documentation package and a guide for completing your LSAC accommodations request. This service is independent of LSAC and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Law School Admission Council. Payment covers professional review and document preparation. It does not guarantee a diagnosis, a recommendation for any particular accommodation, or approval by LSAC.

Your Documentation Process

Five clear steps take you from the initial intake through delivery of your completed documentation.

Step 1

Complete Your Intake Form

Provide accurate and complete information about your relevant history, current symptoms, testing-related functional limitations, previous accommodations, requested accommodations, and available supporting records. Complete information helps the psychologist understand your circumstances and determine whether additional information is needed.

Step 2

Licensed Psychologist Review

A licensed psychologist reviews your intake and supporting records using independent professional judgment. The psychologist may ask follow-up questions, request additional records, or require a clinical interview before completing the review. Based on the information you provide, draft candidate portions of the applicable LSAC materials may be prepared for you. You are responsible for reviewing all candidate-entered information, correcting factual errors, and completing any required candidate certification or signature. The psychologist completes and signs qualified-professional documentation only when clinically appropriate.

Step 3

Receive the Clinical Review Outcome

Standard review is generally completed within 5–7 business days after your intake and any requested records are complete. When available, expedited review is generally completed within 24 hours after your file is complete, subject to the expedited-service terms. Expedited service affects processing time only. It does not change the scope of the review, the psychologist’s professional standards, or the clinical outcome.

Step 4

Review and Sign Your Documents

Your documentation will be made available through the secure client portal. Review every section carefully before signing. Contact us if you notice an incorrect factual detail or need clarification. Factual corrections can be made when appropriate. Clinical findings and recommendations remain the psychologist’s independent professional judgment.

Step 5

Receive Your Final Documents and Submit Your Request

After all required signatures are complete, your finalized documents will be available through the secure client portal. You will receive an email notification and a step-by-step guide explaining how to complete your submission through LSAC JD Services. You are responsible for submitting your request and all supporting documentation before the applicable LSAC deadline. LSAC reviews accommodation requests and makes all final decisions regarding approval and administration of accommodations.

Documentation and accommodation recommendations are provided only when clinically appropriate. LSAC independently reviews accommodation requests and makes all final decisions.
